Dry Needling

Dry needling is an effective technique to address myofascial trigger points. The technique is performed by inserting a small filiform needle into the skin and underlying muscle to decrease muscle tightness, increase blood flow and reduce pain. Dry needling may also be used to re-educate muscles for improved function.

Corrective Exercise

You will be instructed in specifically tailored exercises to address your unique needs. These exercises will change with time as your symptoms improve. You will also be provided with an individualized home exercise program so that you can continue to progress in between sessions.

  • I started going to Christy for pelvic issues post having twins. She helped me regain strength in my core and my hips. I then got pregnant and I saw her throughout my entire pregnancy for keeping my core strength and helping relieve hip and back pain. I believe her guidance and knowledge helped me so much during my last pregnancy and has helped me have more strength post partum. She did not just treat my pelvic issues—we always discussed areas of concern, such as IT band, Achilles, upper back, etc. She is a gem of a human and for PT.

  • I previously worked with Christy so it was a no-brainer to seek out her help again. Her new studio is clean, warm and inviting. I felt very relaxed and cared for, and of course she is top notch at what she does! I'm a nursing student and work in a hospital so when I had an Achilles injury I panicked. She gave me a thorough eval and then we worked with dry needling (with stim) as well as exercises to keep me progressing. It was obvious that as she evaluated me (and continued to during treatment) that she was thinking strategically about what would work best for me. 100% recommend her!

  • Dr. Wilson is an absolute wonder! She has done in 4 months what Doctors, Physical Therapists, and medicine couldn’t do in 20 years…relieve my pain. After a few sessions I knew she was determined to help me ease my pain through the different techniques she uses. Super knowledgeable. If one method work well she kept going until it worked great. It’s hard to find a doctor with that standard of care. I’m all in!
